Drew Barrymore Just Launched An Affordably-Chic Home Line At Walmart

When it comes to celebrity lifestyle brands, there’s a lot we’re not buying. However, we’ve long been a fan of Drew Barrymore’s business side. When she launched Barrymore Wines, we sipped until we were tipsy. When she introduced Flower Beauty, we fell in love with the colors and formulas. When she debuted Dear Drew, we wanted to wear everything. Perhaps it’s her down-to-earth aesthetic or her philosophy of affordable luxury, but her lifestyle brand has won us over. And now, we’re in the process of redecorating because the actress-turned-entrepreneur just launched a new collection of home décor and furniture at Walmart.

Flower Home is a bit bohemian, like its founder, and includes an assortment of nearly 220 items that were inspired by Barrymore’s own homes and travels. Think upholstered chase lounges, floral pillows, woven baskets, abstract wall art, and vintage dinnerware sets. It’s similar to what you would find at Anthropology, but at a much more affordable price. Prices range from $18 (for smaller décor items) to $899 (for larger furniture pieces).

“It’s so difficult to furnish your home — when the consumer is going through the process, it’s ‘How do all the pieces fit together? How do I get the style I want? How do I afford that?’” Anthony Soohoo, senior vice president and group general manager, home division, Walmart U.S. e-commerce, told WWD, adding that Flower Home fills a gap in Walmart’s portfolio, “in terms of hitting an eclectic, bohemian and modern style.”

When it comes to her brand, Barrymore is very passionate about making luxurious products that are affordable and attainable – and Flower Home is no different. According to WWD, she was very involved in the design process and insisted on creating original patterns you wouldn’t find anywhere else. The result? A home decor collection that is stylish, delightfully eclectic, and looks super-expensive. “I wanted to create rooms that were very easy to understand, and things are going to go together, but it’s not all one note. I hate one note. I’ve always been turned off by the designer-y look,” Barrymore said.

Flower Home is available across Walmart’s portfolio of sites, including walmart.com, jet.com and hayneedle.com. Keep scrolling to shop some of our favorite items from the line.
